What’s this all about?
So I wrote a book back in May. As the pandemic drags on, we thought it would be nice to share with other families. Hopefully this helps fill some time between now and a widely available, safe vaccine.
Are you a professional author / illustrator / publisher?
As they say in Texas, this is my first Rodeo. My wife and I both have full time jobs and a busy 3yr old at home. The book was written and illustrated between naps and Zoom calls. See something that needs fixing? Let us know!
How much? For a kids’ book?
Unfortunately the cheapest way to print books is lots of them at one time. Not knowing the demand, the price is pretty close to actual cost.
Where’s my order?
The Buggies is done as ‘print on demand’ meaning that each copy is made as you order it. Unfortunately this means longer wait times. If you’re worried about it, please feel free to reach out.
Do I get a tracking number?
You should get an email order number with your purchase and a second tracking number by email once the book or merchandise is printed. Questions? Send an email with your order number.
I’m a doctor. Can I use a Buggie face mask for work?
Nope. The Buggies face masks are NOT medical grade masks (which are recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an infection preventative measure, i.e. grade FFP2/N95). So please DO NOT purchase The Buggies face masks with the false understanding they will prevent infection from Coronavirus. They are more about protecting others to reduce spread. Due to the personal hygiene nature of the product, your custom face masks are non-returnable.
Are you really donating to charity?
Yep. Our family is very fortunate to be healthy and employed during this trying period. A portion of all proceeds goes to a global charity and all direct donations will be matched. Find out more.
Can I write my donation off my taxes?
Good question. The Buggies is not a 501(c)(3) non-profit. If it helps, you will get an email receipt indicating your donation, but you might need to talk with an actual accountant.
I’m a teacher. Can I use The Buggies with my kids?
